Submit a Film
To submit a film for festival consideration you must complete the registration process for your production, pay the required entry fee and provide an Online Screener (an Online Screener is your film uploaded to a secure website) for review by ITFF programming staff. You can submit your production via FilmFreeway or via FestHome. Please choose from the submission options below. Before submitting your film(s), make sure you have read and understood the rules of the festival.

Rules & Eligibility Requirements
-> All productions submitted that are meeting our requirements are eligible for nomination for ITFF Film & Entertainment Industry Awards.
-> Your production may originate from anywhere from the world. Any nationalities and any production can enter our International Categories.
-> To enter Thai categories, your film must be a Thai production, produced in Thailand and the producer(s) and the director(s) of your production must be Thai citizens.
-> All non-English language entries must have English subtitles.
-> We would like to have Thailand premieres, but it is not a requirement.
-> Productions submitted to the Festival must have been completed after January 1, 2021. Works-In-Progress are not considered. Productions that are nominated at previous editions of ITFF are not considered.
-> All genres of production are welcome (For example: comedy, drama, action, sci-fi, documentary, thriller, horror, art projects, etc...), except pornographic content. Over-sexualized contents are not allowed. You may have used any of the execution techniques (For example: film, animation - traditional or computer generated 2D or 3D) to execute your production.

Technical Requirements
Online Screeners (Films and Videos) must be in Full HD quality with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and must be a viewable and downloadable file. Please provide the link (and the password if there is one) for the programming staff and the judging board of ITFF to review your production. If your film or music video production has been selected (nominated for ITFF Film and Entertainment Industry Awards), then we will require the highest possible quality version of your production. Incomplete submissions won't be accepted. We only accept links to secure sites and platforms, for example: FilmFreeway, FestHome, IMDb, Vimeo, Dropbox, YouTube, etc. We do not accept submissions in any other manner or format, including: Hard Drives, Content burned to discs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, USB Flash Drives, external unsecure online links or downloadable files.
Accepted Formats for review (Online Screeners): mp4, mpg, mpeg, mov and avi. (4K and other file formats need to be converted.)
Quality Requirement for review: Minimum Full HD (1920x1080) digital file.
Accepted Formats for screening at the event: mp4, mpg, mpeg, mov, avi, wmv (Full HD) and 4K digital files.
Quality Requirement for screening at the event: Full HD digital files, 4K digital files, Blu-ray or DCP.
We project videos, music videos and shorts to large screens during the event. Also, we screen feature films and short films on cinema screens. If your production has been nominated and you wish us to screen your short film on a big screen (cinema screen) at the event, you will be requested to provide us with (Minimum: a Full HD digital file of your film) and/ or the DCP of your production later on, but it is not mandatory.

You may submit multiple productions and can apply in as many categories as you like as long as your production meets the criteria of the selected category you wish to submit to. Awards & Prizes
Nominated productions will receive a notification of their nomination and will receive the official laurel of the selection. All films and video productions that have made the Official Selection (Nominated Productions) will be notified by email in August, around 4-6 weeks prior the Festival. [Also, after the Event, all selected productions (Official Selection) will be marked on IMDb as 'Award Nominated' or 'Award Winner', as well.)
Nominated Productions (Official Selection) will be screened at International Thai Film Festival in Bangkok. The Event takes place in the middle of September in the amazing city of Bangkok. Ticketing information, screening schedule, celebrity guests and the full program of the event will be announced later on.
The winners of ITFF Film Competition will receive ITFF Film and Entertainment Industry Award trophies and prizes. The exact amount of cash prizes and other prizes that we give away to the winners are subject to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters.
ITFF does not post awards or prizes * if there is such a circumstance that there is no representative of a nominated production present at the Award Ceremony of the Event. ITFF does not cover travel, accommodation or other costs.
All the nominated productions will receive two Full Pass tickets to the Event (2 full passes per production that can be collected at the Event), that includes; access to all screenings, industry panel talks and other activities organized by ITFF.
Rights
All entered films and videos must be the original work of the author or authors. Multiple authorship is allowed. ITFF and its organizers shall not be responsible directly or indirectly for any liability arising from any violation of any copyright laws.
ITFF is granted the right to use the submitted films and film stills for promotional purposes on the internet, television and other media, an excerpt of maximum 10% of the length of each submitted film may be used for that purpose. Please note that we will not in any way upload nor release your film or video online, with the exception of a poster and/or a trailer of your production.
In other words: The Rights of your production remain with you and/ or the original right-holder(s) of the production. We only require the rights to screen your production during the Event. We only upload the trailer of your production (if you have provided one to us), the poster of your production and we may excerpt 10% of your production for promotional purposes.
Note: In a case of an emergency (e.g.: spread of a virus) or a natural disaster or any unexpected event that could cause health or safety concerns, we reserve the right to postpone, modify or cancel the live cinema event of ITFF2024 and/or then hold the event online. If such circumstances appear; we will contact the creators/representatives of the selected productions (Official Selection) by email (in early August 2023) regarding online screening possibilities. Then the awards, trophies and prices will be send/posted to the winners. However, we are confident in and well-prepared that the live cinema event will be held as usual, scheduled in the middle of September 2024, Bangkok, Thailand.
Additional Terms
Entry Fees are non-refundable.
ITFF does not consider films that require screening or rental fees.
The festival does not accept any free entries, nor do we hand out fee waivers.
The decisions of our judges are final and will not be reconsidered by any means.
Your production entry cannot be withdrawn from the competition after 1st of July 2024.
Please make sure you fill out your submission correctly, providing all mandatory requirements for your submission. Sending us additional files separately by email won’t be taken into consideration, unless additional information or materials are required by us.
